European Project: Raising European Awareness




A l'intention des Highers et Advanced higher

Voici un site Internet très bien fait pour comprendre le role du parlement Européen a Strasbourg. Le site a été fait par des écoles écossaises. Le projet est Euroscola, voici un autre site pour en savoir un peu plus.

Fin des jeux Olympiques


Voila, après deux semaines de neige, de brouillard, de chutes et de sauts en tout genre, l'aventure canadienne se termine. La France avec 11 médailles fait aussi bien qu'a Salt Lake City et mieux qu'a Turin :)

Les prochains jeux se tiendront en Russie, dans 4 ans. Y serez-vous?

The first one is www.languagesonline.org.uk Your task will be to work on perfect tense and practise what we have done in class. Look at your notes if you are stuck. Remember to use the booklet and to see the work done in class.

The second website will be www.linguascope.com . You are asked to work on the beginner section and work through the green section on the top left corner.

Time to use your iPhone in a sensible way



With an increasing number of pupils having a iPhone, The department thought it would be a good time to download some Apps to practise a language.
Here is a selection of apps available on the iStore. Some of them are free so feel free to have a look.

7 Forget French and language and focus on the country: FRANCE. Pub quizz here we come!! This app has got all the info to be unbeatable about France for your next pub quizz

8 Aimed at beginner, succession of flashcard, quite useful to introduce new language. Available in 4 languages (German, Spanish, Italian, French)

9 Linguascope App in French this time.

10: the full list on the app store on Education. Very very helpful to revise while on the bus. Some of them are free, check them out.

Get downloading, and use them to revise the vocab seen in class.

Jeux Olympiques

Les jeux olympiques d'hiver se tiennent a Montréal au Canada en ce moment. Une nouvelle discipline est a l'honneur: Le ski-cross. Voici quelques extraits d'une course



Il n'y a aucune règle dans le sport, le premier à arriver en bas de la pente gagne la manche.

Lors de ma prochaine visite sur les pistes de Glenshee, je vais transformer quelques pistes en pistes de ski cross :)
